Tramhaus are known for their broad and ever electrifying sound that reaches from shoegaze to punkrock. This amalgam is clearly a product of the diverse and rich musical tastes of the different band members. Nonetheless, in a live setting the band forms a strong union. It makes sure to grab the audience from the first to the last note in a maelstrom of emotions.
In its relatively short existence, the symbiotic five piece have toured endlessly, gaining popularity along the way. Their debut The First Exit (2024) kicked several doors in. Dutch critics lined up with five-star ratings like it was a group project they all agreed to ace, while Tramhaus carried on like a gang on a well-planned rampage: selling out venues, tearing through Europe, and leaving a trail of sweaty, stunned audiences behind. Less “rising stars,” more “we’re already here—keep up.”
