Eli's Corner is a perfect hang for a quick drink or snack. From your weekday afterwork to DJ's playing late night sessions, this place is truly for everyone.

Fyrens Ölkafé is a popular café and small venue where you enjoy music and the surroundings of the lively neighborhood of Majorna. In the next room you'll find Bengans, the dome of vinyl and CD's in Northern Europe. A place to meet friends. 


Gathenhielmska Huset was built in the 1740s, and today holds a vision to create a place for artistic and cultural activities. With open doors as a culture house with an event program, the building itself always stays center stage.

The Mexican restaurant and bar Holy Moly is located on Andra Långgatan. The small stage is frequently used for all types of music and a great place to pop into and come back to, as there are gigs offered several times a week.


Located downstairs in Musikens Hus, Hängmattan is a cozy, intimate space known for its eclectic mix of gigs, club nights, and cultural events. A go-to spot for discovering new sounds and catching underground acts in a laid-back setting.

Kulturlagret is a live music venue and a culture house for the younger ones. A great establishment helping young people and artists to promote concerts and put on shows all year around. Here you can catch local acts doing their first gigs ever, as well as big names out touring the world.

One of the most important and oldest venues in the city, both for upcoming and well-established bands. Musikens Hus offers everything from blues nights and poetry sessions to punk festivals and rock concerts.

Oceanen is a stage, a restaurant and an event venue on Stigbergstorget, Majorna. It’s home to a great music variety and has become one of the most important grassroot venues in the city with shows year round. Lots of music and good times.

Pustervik has been part of Gothenburg's night- and cultural life since the 1920's. Taking its current shape in 2012, the venue hosts concerts almost every night of the week. Both in a 900 cap room, and in a 250 cap one. As well as it being a cool spot for your every day hang out.

Skeppet GBG is a new edition to the Gothenburg live circuit, located at Stigbergstorget. The space used to be a a seamen's church and the new runners has kept its originality. Skeppet is a restaurant, a bar, a studio and shows are frequent.

Andra Långgatans Skivhandel is the largest vintage record shop in the city, filled with everything from jazz to experimental rock. This creative spot also do live shows, mainly with new local artists, with plans of more good stuff to come.


The Abyss is a music bar and restaurant specializing in heavy metal and old school hard rock. The roots are always here: DJ:s, live music, pre- & after parties around shows, release events and singing sessions.


Utopia Jazz is a small, intimate and popular music club with good food and drinks in Gothenburg's most vibrant area - Stigbergstorget. Live music is played here, mostly jazz, three to four times a week. Step in!
