Horndal is the band that turned the fate of their hometown into brutal metal. When the steel mill shut down, the community slowly rusted away and died. That darkness has become the band’s fuel. With a unique and explosive blend of death, doom, progressive and heavy metal, Horndal tells stories of industrial collapse, rebellion and human destinies.
They quickly earned a reputation as one of Sweden’s most intense and emotionally charged live bands. They have shared stages with giants such as In Flames, Tribulation, Kvelertak, Dismember, The Hives and The Hellacopters, and left a strong mark at major festivals including Copenhell, Sweden Rock Festival and Desertfest London. Horndal are more than a band – they are a voice for the forgotten, a soundtrack to rebellion, and proof that metal can be both brutal and tell compelling stories – beyond dragons, swords, “inner demons” and other tired genre clichés.
