Gothenburg’s JOSSY takes the best bits of early 2000s pop-rock and runs with them. Think Avril Lavigne, Paramore and Arctic Monkeys, filtered through melancholic indie, sharp pop hooks and a healthy dose of guitar-driven energy. At just 21, she writes and produces her own songs, turning personal lyrics into something made for sweaty stages and loud singalongs. Nostalgic without getting stuck in the past, JOSSY brings a soulful voice, a full-band punch and plenty of attitude. Keep your eyes on this one.

Jossy will perform on Friday Nov 27 at Viva Sounds Youth.
