Born out of metalcore but breaking far beyond its boundaries, their latest EP, "Hightower", pushes dense guitar work, massive bass lines and relentless drums into something fierce and unpredictable. The vocals cut straight, delivering raw lyrics shaped by the band's own experiences.

Anchors draw from modern metal, metalcore and hardcore, but there’s nothing overly polished about the result. This is music built for impact and intricate enough to dig into. What started as an escape through music has grown into something much bigger for original members Mats Naalsund and Andrew Haugstad, who turned that outlet into a full-blown band. With Nicolò Cavallaro on bass and Joakim Mangersnes on drums, Anchors are now ready to push things even further.
