With songs like “Oktober, Bergen by”, “Barndomsmelodi”, and “Bittelitt”, Oddny has established themselves as a unique voice from Western Norway in the national music scene. In addition to radio success, a string of sold-out shows, and a steadily growing fan base, they received the Lutt Award 2024 in the category Newcomer of the Year. In 2025, they were nominated for the main award – a clear sign that Oddny has truly found their footing.

They have developed a distinctive musical sound, blending it with characteristic lyrics in their own dialect. The band’s creative headquarters is an old family house in the small coastal town of Bremanger, on Norway’s west coast. It’s a place where they often live and work together, writing and recording much of their music within its walls.
