Citizend is a Gothenburg-based duo blending dark folk, cinematic americana, and alternative rock into a vivid atmospheric world of sound. On november 13, they release their debut album DoomsVille via Majestic Mountain Records. A concept record set in a desolate frontier town at the edge of a ruined world, where myth, hope, and decay collide.

Inspired by everything from spaghetti-western soundscapes to shadow-lit folk and alternative rock, DoomsVille unfolds like a soundtrack to a post-apocalyptic western. The album’s universe also expands beyond music through a companion short story by author Fredrik Persson Winter, released via Kraxa förlag. For the release, Citizend is joined by a group of acclaimed collaborators from the Scandinavian alternative scene, bringing the project’s cinematic world fully to life on stage.
