The Swedish psychedelic outfit MaidaVale possesses an almost magical ability to captivate their audience, whether performing on an intimate club stage, a beach at sunset, or at a hard rock festival. The Stockholm-based quartet laid the foundation for their unique kraut-influenced neo-psychedelia when, by a fortunate coincidence, they met on Gotland and quickly made their mark on the underground scene during the early 2010s.

The band’s acclaimed debut Tales of the Wicked West was released in 2016, followed by countless tours and festival appearances across Europe. Two years later came the experimental Madness is too Pure, which among other achievements earned the band a nomination for P3 Guld.
