Montreal’s Boutique Feelings blurs the lines between hip-hop, psychedelia and electroacoustic soundscapes. Fronted by Karim Lakhdar (of prog-psych outfit Atsuko Chiba), the project bends genres with distorted hooks, hypnotic beats and sharp social reflections.

Rooted in hip-hop but branching into krautrock and trip-hop, Boutique Feelings channels OutKast, Madlib and Gorillaz through a hazy, experimental lens. The result? A heady mix of groove, grit and thought.
