Born out of a long-distance correspondence, Fuses’ songs are signals in search of a connection across distances that span oceans. Drawing inspiration from 60s folk rock and classic country, Fuses paint a sound picture that connects the Swedish urskog with the Canadian muskeg, the aching heart with the broken down engine.
Drummer and bassist Moa-Linn Rösenlof (Orkan, Spela Död) first met guitarist Craig Fahner when his Toronto-based group Motorists played Viva Summer Sounds in Gothenburg in 2024. Since then, they’ve been writing and recording a suite of songs steeped in lush vocal harmonies and reverb soaked steel guitar, creating a sound that is both timeless and uncommon, at once melancholic and hopeful. This show marks their first appearance in Sweden, and will feature Jon-Erik Jonasson on drums and Pablo Copa on lead guitar and organ.
