Formed in 2015 by Albin Sköld and Alex Stjernfeldt, the lineup was completed in 2021 with Jocke Lindström, Staffan Persson and Per Stålberg. Soon after, the band signed with Eat Heavy Records and began recording their debut album. The critically acclaimed Meditations in Filth dropped in early 2023, cementing CHILD as one of Sweden’s most uncompromising acts. Now signed to Suicide Records, they’ve unleashed their second full-length, Shitegeist — a furious blend of grind, crust, death and noise aimed squarely at total sonic annihilation.
