The band consists of Joel Sjöö and Alessandra Günthardt, who, during their careers as songwriters and producers for others, have had hits around the world. As Genom Natten, they're making music in Swedish for the first time, crafting timeless, romantic dream pop.

In February 2025, Genom Natten debuted with the single I ett annat liv, which was unanimously praised by critics and quickly made it into P3’s (Swedish Radio) rotation. It was followed by Förloraren, which was also embraced by P3 and shot straight to number one on Spotify’s Indie Highlights list. One more single will be released before summer, building anticipation for one of the most eagerly awaited debut albums of the year. Live, the band expands to a full setup with musicians who have played with the likes of Amanda Bergman and Thomas Stenström.
