Good bye Speed Meeting - hello Bumper Meeting! 

We've all done Speed Meetings. You sit down, introduce yourself, explain what you do, exchange contacts, move on. Nothing wrong with that, but too often it's a waste of time. We figured it was time to shake things up a bit.

Enter Bumper Meetings, our own slightly chaotic take on networking. Think bumper cars, but with people from the independent music scene and you're close.
Here's how it works: Six zones, each with its own Zone Guard and a question worth talking about. Four participants in each zone, plus the mighty Zone Guard. Quick introductions, then straight into the conversation. A few minutes later, we shout BUMP! Two people move clockwise, two counterclockwise. New faces, new question, new conversation. Repeat until everyone's been around all six zones.

No pitches, no presentations, no awkward networking rituals. Just 45 minutes of people sharing ideas, takes on things that matters, maybe challenging each other and hopefully discovering someone they wouldn't otherwise have met. And if you bump into someone you want to keep talking to? Well, that's what the rest of Viva Sounds is for.
