Søren Kristensen

Head of the music department at the cultural space Huset i Hasserisgade, which includes a 120-cap venue and a music office supporting local emerging artists. We book national and international acts across jazz, world, roots, indie, and art music. Søren has previously worked for more than 20 years as a booker and concert coordinator at Aalborg’s largest music venue, Skråen in Nordkraft, organizing everything from small talent development shows to major international acts. In addition, he runs a small music company called Empty Tape, which has released music and handled management and booking for a number of Danish and international artists.
