Michelle Paquet

Michelle Paquet is a Montreal-based artist manager who has been with the indie label Lisbon Lux Records since 2023. She represents a diverse roster of artists such as DVTR (punk), Super Plage (electropop), and Virginie B (hyperpop). Michelle’s path into music emerged after nearly a decade as a writer for several Québec media outlets, including URBANIA, Bible Urbaine, and MSN.ca. She transitioned into the music industry in 2020, leveraging the network she built as a music writer to secure her first role in the industry. Before working with Lisbon Lux as a manager, she worked at Montreal’s Costume Records, where she oversaw artist development for projects such as Flore Laurentienne and Valaire, and where she managed celebrated Canadian indie darling Julie Doiron for nearly three years. Since 2023, Michelle has focused on international developpement for the projects she represents. She has attended such events as M for Montréal, SXSW, Wide Days, Focus Wales, Reeperbahn and Zandari Festa in Seoul.
