Matilda Schyborger

Enskedejazz is an organization dedicated to original music. Founded in 2019 by jazz musician and organizer Matilda Schyborger, the association launched the Enskede Jazz Festival, which over five years grew from one stage to five, and from six acts to fifteen, while also running club events around Stockholm. After a one-year break, Enskedejazz returns with a new festival in collaboration with Hägerstensåsens Medborgarhus, bringing jazz to new heights — literally. The association’s vision is to be a platform where original music of high artistic quality can be performed entirely on the musicians’ own terms, regardless of status, gender, or background. Since 2023, Enskedejazz has also expanded its activities by organizing pop-up clubs across Stockholm.
