A music entrepreneur and cultural producer dedicated to amplifying the voices of Portugal’s emerging rock and alternative scenes. As co-founder of gig.ROCKS!, he has played a key role in supporting up-and-coming bands such as TRAVO, Them Flying Monkeys, Madmess, and Unsafe Space Garden, helping to develop their careers and expand their reach. His work with TRAVO, in particular, culminated in the band’s acclaimed session at KEXP, a milestone for Portuguese independent music. In addition to his work at gig.ROCKS!, Jorge served as executive producer of the Festival Ponte d’Lima in 2023 and 2024, curating forward-thinking lineups and strengthening the festival’s reputation as a platform for breakthrough talent. His approach combines strategic insight with deep cultural engagement, positioning him as a driving force in Portugal’s contemporary music landscape.
