Birgit Wolters

Birgit Wolters is a music PR professional with a degree in public relations and long-standing experience in international campaigns within the metal and alternative music scene. She worked as Head of PR & Marketing at Century Media Records, where she was responsible for communication strategies and media relations for internationally active artists. She currently works with Oktober Promotion, focusing on developing concepts for influencer and content creator collaborations. Alongside her professional activities, she is involved on a voluntary basis as a booking assistant for the independent festival Krach am Bach.
Through her combination of academic background, professional expertise, and voluntary work, Birgit is familiar with both the structures of the music industry and the independent festival scene. She contributes perspectives on how audiences engage with music and how communication strategies are adapting to changing media landscapes.
